The vision of the Center for Academic Engagement is to increase achievement and success of all Â鶹´«Ã½ÉçÇø students.

Mission

The mission of the Center for Academic Engagement is to facilitate collaboration between academic and instructional support units, and to encourage faculty and staff to intervene on student retention issues in a timely manner. The CAE will employ active student outreach, as well as support the faculty and staff in proactively connecting students to services that can enhance the opportunity to be successful at Â鶹´«Ã½ÉçÇø.

Goal

The goal of the Center for Academic Engagement is to help students develop the skills necessary to be academically successful while at the same time fostering students' critical thinking skills and their sense of independence.
