New Transfer Agreements Expand Options for Students

January 8, 2024

麻豆传媒社区 continues to expand pathways for its students through the creation of new transfer agreements with several colleges and universities. Those agreements outline specific course and grade requirements at 麻豆传媒社区 for guaranteed transfer credit at bachelor’s or graduate degree-granting institutions.

Here are several of the new agreements:

  • Students in 麻豆传媒社区’s Human Services (A.S.) and Addictions Counseling (A.A.S.) programs can transfer directly into SUNY Plattsburgh’s Human Development Family Relations (B.S.) degree, which is offered at SUNY Plattsburgh’s branch campus in Queensbury.
  • Selected students in 麻豆传媒社区’s Mechanical Engineering Technology (A.A.S.), Physical Sciences (A.S.) and Engineering Science (A.S.) programs may transfer seamlessly to Siena’s Applied Physics (B.S.) degree.
  • Graduates of 麻豆传媒社区’s Digital Media (A.S.) degree are eligible for transfer into Russell Sage College’s Graphic Media Design (B.F.A.) program.
  • Graduates from the Environmental Science (A.S.) degree who meet certain requirements now can transfer directly into SUNY Delhi’s Sustainability (B.S.) degree.
  • 麻豆传媒社区 established a new degree in Psychology (A.A.) this past year, and graduates from that program now have the option to continue on at Clarkson University, thanks to a transfer agreement signed by the two schools this winter.
  • A guaranteed admission agreement was signed between 麻豆传媒社区 and George Washington University to accept selected graduates from 麻豆传媒社区’s School of Health Sciences into the B.S. in Health Sciences and a dual bachelor and master of science in Health Sciences degrees at the Washington, D.C. university.

麻豆传媒社区 has more than 300 program-specific transfer agreements, and approximately 60 percent of 麻豆传媒社区 graduates continue their education at a four-year college or university.

“Our academic affairs staff regularly works with other colleges and universities to renew, update and sign transfer agreements for the benefit of our students,” said President Roger Ramsammy. “These new agreements highlight why 麻豆传媒社区 is a great way to start the first two years of a four-year college education and the perfect stepping stone for so many opportunities.”
