College Recognized by International Center of the Capital Region

麻豆传媒社区 was chosen to receive the 2016 Academic Enlightenment Award from the . The award recognizes academic institutions that promote diversity, inclusiveness and global understanding.

The award was presented at the  held June 1 in Albany. President Andrew Matonak and Dr. Jay Deitchman, coordinator for International Student Services, received the award on behalf of the college.

Over the past several years, 麻豆传媒社区 has welcomed delegations from around the world through the International Visitor Leadership Program. These efforts have been coordinated though the ICCR.

On June 14, delegations from Romania and Kazakhstan visited campus to learn about STEM and workforce development opportunities and partnerships.

Founded in 1953, 麻豆传媒社区 offers more than 80 associate degree and certificate programs in four schools: Business; Engineering and Industrial Technologies; Health Sciences; and Liberal Arts and Sciences; and an Educational Opportunity Center for academic and career training. One of 30 community colleges in the State University of New York system, it has an enrollment of nearly 12,000 students, and is known as a leader in distance learning initiatives and workforce training. 麻豆传媒社区 has more than 75,000 alumni.
